Last week we spent a lot of time discussing the characteristics of non-fiction. We discussed that non-fiction books are true and you found many interesting facts during your independent reading time. Today please share the most interesting fact you read last week (you can use your reader's notebook). Be sure to include the title of the book you found your fact from.

What's Your Favorite Book?

This year we've already been reading so many great books and I can't wait to share more with you. I started off the year by sharing one of my favorite books with you, The Castle in the Attic. I like this book because it teaches the reader so many lessons. Through William's adventures you learn about bravery, love and friendship. What's your favorite book and why?
